Always Write
I am a writer.
I like to walk in my imagination and let the details flood my senses until I am so full I have to write.
That alone is the magic. That is my process. Nothing more nothing less.
It doesn't mean I know the entire literary canon, read the right books or use perfect grammar. It doesn't mean I've made whole, well-rounded characters or even one-dimensional characters. It may not even mean I succeeded in nailing a perfectly paced plot or a compelling story.
It simply means I interpret what my mind's eye sees and sometimes I get lucky and all things come together. My writing comes out well, a bit crafted and polished. Ready to share.
And if it doesn't, I give it to my editor.
I just write.

My First Publication
Once you get a taste of this, the fun never ends...ever.
There was a contest in elementary school for our first Bulldogs publication. If our piece was picked, we were published and so began my writing career.
